Matey at work is looking for an XC 29er on the Cyclescheme. He’s already got a FS so fancies a general XC HT for knocking around the doors, mebbe with 130mm travel.
Any ideas?

Either go 100mm with an almost flat fat tyre or wait for the genre to expand.

Err…well thats why I’m asking. I know nowt about 29ers (ovbiously) & ride 26″ jobs with 140 & 130 travel. So why don’t you get bigger travel 29ers then?

He’d get a nice fork, headset & a stem / bars for that if he wanted 130mm.

Otherwise I’d wager the giant mentioned, a trek or a specialized may be the way forwards
