Long story short, currently own a Voodoo Bizango 20″ – love it but want to go full sus!

Can’t really afford a new bike so seeing what can be done on a budget.

Anyone got any suggestions on make and model frames to be searching for on the Classifieds and eBay that I could make most of my Bizango bits fit on it that are cheap but worth buying!

Key I suppose is 29er, straight steerer and then if mechs, BB, seatposts etc don’t fit then on here for “top ups”

    Cheers!!

    £140 for frame
    £80 shock

I need a 2012 Specialized Camber 29 in black and yellow! Straight steerer, 135mm dropouts… Where I’m going to find one of them secondhand is another matter!!!

If you can get away with a small Bike Scene still have them Bike Scene

You don’t need a straight steerer btw – just a headset to fit your forks.

Ah yes, A reducer headset would work nicely.

Already seen the bike scene one, but far too small unfortunately!!

Kick myself for starting to look…. There is nothing!!

Other option is sell my bike and by a budget full build!!!

Few hundred if I can get away with it, or sell and buy 2nd hand full depending on what I can get for mine

Something will crop up within budget if you keep an eye on Ebay, Pinkbike and here.

Here’s one to keep an eye on for starters (although the forks will probably send it over-budget):

I guess you need a little patience 🙂

Salsa Horsethief would be a good option – I’ve seen those go for £350

Come to the conclusion that by the time I get frame and shock, I’ll need a new rear wheel as old one only 135/9qr, headset, BB and anything that doesn’t fit I’ll blow my budget massively!

Looking more appealing budget wise to sell what I have and get a 2nd hand full 29er or 650b FS build….. Now to find budget ones of those!
