whats a good wheelset to go on something like a stantion hardtail.

I’ve got a set of Hope Tech Enduros on Hope Pro II’s. I built them myself but you can buy them as a wheelset pre-built, but not sure about sub-£300.
Maybe used?
Seem like good strong rims and the hubs are spot on.

Next choice for me would be Stans Flow Ex on Hope Pro II’s or something like that.

Sub £300 maybe jra trail dog I25s, then 2.3 front and rear tyre wise. Grippe on front and but more rolly on the back.

The JRA trail dogs seems to get pretty good reviews.

Slightly over budget, but I managed to Hope Pro 4’s on ARC 30’s with DT Swiss spokes for £400 via an LBS.

Anything left in the Superstar sale?
Some cracking deals on Arch/Flow Ex rims on their Fuel hubs – £125ish.
