Hi, I don’t know much about what is out there. Just upgraded to a 15mm 26″ front axle (125mm forks) and now I’m going to need a new front wheel.

Peaks and trail centre use mostly. I’m not a heavy rider so doesn’t need to be DH strong. What do people recommend? I’m riding tubes but fancy possibly going tubeless but not essential.

What do you recommend around the £100-120 mark. The cheaper the better.

hope pro 2 hub will be the standard reply, and its a good reply because it takes all axle standards and should save you money in the long run.

Rims – loads of people rate Stans Rims if you want to go tubeless, Crest if you want them light, Arch if you want them to be tough, but still light, flow if you want them bombproof.

Custom build from Merlin with Arch EX is £ 120.
