I’ve got myself a specialized P1 frame to build up for spring, but I dont have aclue what to put on the front of it. I’m after something with 100mm travel and 20mm axle, should I be looking for Pikes? I don’t mind getting something older but I can seem to find any.

I’ve got the same problem there’s not much choice out there!

I’m stuck on Argyle Coil’s for £300 from CRC but haven’t hit the button yet. I’m keeping an eye on Pinkbike classifieds.

When I had a P1 years ago they came standard with rigid forks. Maybe hunt some of those down if you’re on a budget. DMR and NS make decent rigid forks if your wrists are up to it.

    I got some old Pike 426 U-turns.
Easy to strip and service, 20mm axle, straight steerer.
Go from 95mm to 140mm. Picked up the fork for £85.
