On a scale of 1-10, 10 being submerged, 8 being washing machine, etc

Leave them for a couple of days to dry out, don’t even think about trying to switch them on.

Remove the battery immediately, take apart and then put somewhere warm, possibly in uncooked rice, for a couple of days

Do not power up at all, this is what kills a wet gizmo

Put in a shoulder bag with a unsealed bottle of water after pub visit.

The phone was definitely on at the time, is now blank and flat, will try and open the case.

Rice is supposed to be good, what is even better though is either those little bags of silica gel you get in new bags or shoes, or if you know someone with a de-humidifier.

Leave it in a bag n rice n eventually tiny Asians will come along n fix it for you.
