Took kids to see ‘A Monster calls’ today, blubbed like a baby!!

Mine is 15 years old and I embarrasse her just by breathing at the moment.

I can empathise. I read the book 2-3 yrs ago and found it very moving, even more so given the story behind the original author.

I’ve just googled the story behind it spacemonkey, it does make it all the more poignant!

I cried in Monsters Inc when Boo thought she’d never see Kitty again, but I’m emotionally unstable.

Yup.
When my daughter was little, no party was complete until she’d had a dance with her dear old dad.
Yet now…

Amateurs. I went to an open evening in my club kit (full lycra). The teachers didn’t bat an eyelid (I’m known for cycling and have coached at the school). My teenage son was less than impressed.

I changed into trousers the second time 😉

I regularly cry at Disney/Pixar films.
Toy Story, Up, Brave, Inside Out, and most recently Moana.

I’m an old sap. The kids can be embarrassed if they like but they did this to me.
I was a normal, repressed, cold-hearted, dead-inside man until they came along.

Saw Moana today – a beautiful film
