Ive been looking for a new FS frame for a little while and having no imagination coupled with being a tight wad have been looking at Spesh

Now over the last couple of weeks Ive found someone daaarn south flogging frames with no shock and only part of the rear triangle – either the seat stay or chain stay but not both

Its not like hes sold one or two – he seems to have a regular supply of Epics and Stumpies

All of his ads say hes flogging them as he cant get the parts – which as he looks like a shop actually and they are Specialized seems a bit weird

I clicked what was happening when I was about to bid on a fully built up bike from someone else when I noticed in the sellers feedback that he had bought one of these frames recently, and had obviously built it up with the right bits although the shock was a cheapie not the Spesh brain

So whats going on here?
Where and why is there a supply of 2008-10 Specialized full suss frames with parts of the rear triangle missing?

Anyone?
