A mate has a full sus Whyte 29er. He’s changed the tyres for Bronson 2.2’s. no problem. Then he got a couple of punctures running over thorns. When he changed the tubes and put the wheels back on the rear tyre rubs on the lower part of the swingarm on the l/h side. The tyre is on slightly out and it doesn’t catch all the way round but it is extremely close to that side. There’s loads of clearance on the top part of the swingarm. The wheel is a through axle and is in straight.
Any ideas? The bike is about 12 – 18 months old and there is no play in the suspension.

Either the tyre’s ot seated on the rim properly (take it off and refit it) or the tyre’s sidewall has deformed (warranty, or at least should be)

no play in a whyte suspension system? You big fibber!

Sorry to be obvious but is the tyre seated properly? On stans rims or UST rims tyres need to be pumped up a fair bit to pop them onto the rim. Any damage to the tyre or rim?
