Given the usual response on this forum to any form of altercation is to wee in the shoes of the other person, I would guess there are many who have dealt with wee in their shoes. Well, I have a pair of trainers beside me that stink of wee, I’ve tried dunking them in water with a few sterilising tablets but alas the smell is still there. I don’t fancy sticking them in the washing machine as bad things normally happen (shoes fall apart) so looking for other options..

Some sort of enzyme-based / biological cleaner, I’d expect.

put the trainers in a ‘trainer bag’ and wash in the machine – never had any fall apart in the bag…

As above bung them in a pillow case and put them in a low heat wash.

Was there actually wee in the trainers at any time, or do the trainers just smell of wee?

Different approaches depending on the answer.

Scrub out with bicarbonate of soda? Supposed to be a very good cleaner.

Cat wee’d in my trainers years ago. Just chucked them as they were old. Then had his balls chopped off.

    Not sure if that helps.

Microwave for 30 secs unless they are expensive.

Get a part time job for the hours wasted on trying to clean trainers?

    10hrs x £7 then buy new ones?

Piss cancels out piss. Provided it’s a different persons piss.

    Piss in them.

You’d have to ask my ex mother in law… I wee’d in her favourite slippers one night after a few too many whiskys 8)

Buy a new pair, deduct the cost from birthday/Xmas present costs.

Don’t forget to own him with some bombers when you’ve sorted the shoes out.
