Anyone fancy it tomorrow? Should still be fairly dry if it doesn’t rain tonight!

6.30 at Cargo or 7 at Bonally?

I shall be going to Glentress to watch the carnage dual slalom and have a burger or two. Fingers crossed for a wee bit of rain before it starts 😈

After all my talk of being able to join the fun again, I can’t make it this week, nursing* an embarassing yet very painful back injury from riding Glentress blue last week.

Hopefully next week, if the trails aren’t back under a foot of water 😕

*and by nursing I mean spending four days hillwalking and scrambling in Assynt, maybe taking ‘staying active’ a little far during my recovery.

😳 I didn’t get anything, partly due to lack of time and partly due to letting STW influence my decision! So once I’d passed and had to settle up for the last lesson I just sort of mumbled to him to ‘keep the change’, effectively tipping him £4.50 or something.

Needless to say I’m going to get him some decent lager or something, despite what the forum grumps think! 😉

I’d join you chaps but I’ve arranged a GT spin.

What’s this “dual slalom” thing then? Is it too late to get involved?

Well I look forward to hearing of your lbs tipping soon 😀

Why did I curse it saying ‘if it doesn’t rain tonight’?? 😳

Will see how the day progresses but if it’s just this drizzle I’m still up for heading out.

Aye, it’s nowt but a bit of damp air at the moment.

Keep an eye on it but it’s meant to rain later for a few hours.

We could go and spectate the Slalom but i have left motor at home.

Just got the car at work today – no bike or gear, would at least want a bike there to mess around on and not to have a suit on!!!

Will see how the day progresses.

I’m up for a spin out, can always cut it short it the rain comes!

Should be able to get out of work on time.

Most likely see you along the canal again unless I’m quick enough to be at Cargo.

Looks a bit misty from my window in Balerno, but not enough to put off a ride. However, my back pain is telling me to stay at home!

I think I’m going to watch moon nazis, though was also tempted by the dual slalom, and ‘mountain biking’ in the pentlands (aka beer and crisps).
