Best friend's wedding, they've left it a while so have everything they want, so have asked for contributions towards the honeymoon, they are funding the whole shebang – so fair enough.

    How much do I give?

Don't have a lot to spare with kids etc, but want to show him that I care and how much they both mean to me, without looking a tight wad?

Any thoughts on what would be a sensible amount to not lose face, and not cause offence??? Arrggghhhhh, buying from a list is soo much easier 🙄

I give £100 to people I care about and £50 to people I'd rather hadn't invited me to the wedding. 🙂

That was my thought, he insisted he didn't want anything but this.

I dislike people prescribing exactly what you should give. Dont mind wedding lists, unlike most of the STW massiiffff, but not saying specifically "you can buy me this".
