I think they’re playing it down so as not to cause panic.

Have they forgotten that James Madden makes the same winter forecast every year?

If he keeps repeating it then one day he may be right.

Were these people not alive in the 70’s & 80’s? Bad winters, pah – even 2010 was tame.

The Express only has two headlines:

“There is definately going to be a prolonged period of exceptionally bad weather”

and

“New miracle pill cures all known incurable diseases.”
