Currently have a pair of Tenn Driven 5k waterproof trousers which are perfect for my needs, not to sweaty, waterproof enough and well priced. The problem is they just aren’t durable enough, they wear though the crotch in no time.Tenn have been excellent in replacing them but I’m on my 3rd pair which have just split.
What other water proof pants should I look at?. Not interested in over trousers I want something to wear over bib shorts.

    Cheers

My endura superlight waterproof shorts have lasted really well, perhaps four years each pair…

Look for something with a big enough re-inforced seat.

You are using a rear mudguard aren’t you? Gritty saddle will destroy most waterproof fabrics.

Yep, use a mudhugger, my Madison waterproof shorts are still going strong it’s just the Tenn pants that wear though.

I got some army(Navy) surplus goretex ones last winter and they have been great think they were £19. Not trendy but do the job.
