  • waterproof pocket jacket needed for 60mile charity ride ?

    On the 14th I’m taking part in a charity ride for st Giles hospice in Lichfield. I would like a packable waterproof jacket prefered gore tex to take with me. Any ideas ?

    Sprayway always did a good selection of small packable jackets. Can’t say I’ve seen many that are as packable these days.

    A quick search shows their Nyx jacket packs up into the map pocket.

    Altura Pocket Rocket, not Gore tex but folds to the size of an apple and weighs next to nothing.

    Not sure you’ll get Goretex, but if you just want a packable emergency jacket, then have a look at the Endura Pakajak.
