    It was one of these – note, it's the Super Bomber with a 5 speed derailleur, rather than the standard one with a Sturmey 3 speed hub. What was your first foray off road?

    I *think* it was on a Raleigh Lizard borrowed off a kid in the village and but a gert big hole in my shin!
