"It looked to me as if the English have gone backwards into the bad old days of kick and rush.
"I am not sure if the England coach Fabio Capello can still change much there."The English are being punished for the fact that there are very few English players in the Premier League as clubs use better foreign players from all over the world."
Prophetic words?
I'm not a huge footy fan but these last few games seemed to have opened up something of a rift exposing our national squad.
Thinking along Franz's lines, is this historical or it it the way the Premiership operates?
Many teams English seem to be owned by companies or private individuals. Does this stifle local talent? Is there no long term view to the domestic game other than money to buy in foreign players?
Does this pose a problems to the other European teams? How do they avoid this problem - as Franz B sees it?
