    Hi – I’m heading to Warminster for a couple of days after New Year with the Mrs and her family – any decent riding out that way ? Worth taking the bike ?

    Regardless of the quality of the riding, you just have to visit Imber

    The Wylye Valley is absolutely gorgeous and you’ve also got the Plain. As Esme says, you must visit Imber and more info on opening here:

    You could cycle from Warminster and head, on a minor road, towards Heytesbury where you’ll pick up the Imber road/track.
