what have you?
Wanted Santa Cruz Tallboy (Normal or LT) Pref carbon but w.h.y?
You after a frame or enture bike?
I have a Large Turner Sultan. Not carbon, but an amazing bike.
Ridden literally three times and not a mark on it.
I have now moved from the UK to Hong Kong where I don't need the travel, so I am going back to a hardtail.
Doesn't exactly meet your spec, but not far off.
I chose Turner over Santa Cruz because of the warranty, support and DW link vs VPP. Better in the climbs, and the Turner system of lubing and maintenance means a lot further between maintenance.
Bit of a long shot, but worth a go.
It is currently fitted with a set of F34 CRT Talas fox forks, King bb, King Inset 7 (tapered), 80mm Thomson stem and a Reverb seatpost that are specific to the bike, which I could also let go since they won't fit the forthcoming hardtail. All similarly brand new condition.
I have just stripped my 2012 medium Santa Cruz Tallboy aluminium frame ready to sell.
It is in the best colour - brilliant white - and is in truly outstanding condition.
I built this frame up in October last year, but it has seen very little use as it proved to be slightly too big for me. (Purchased locally from Ride Cycles in Newcastle upon Tyne).
The frame will be supplied complete with Fox RP2 shock, Cane Creek tapered headset, Santa Cruz seat collar and rear disc brake adaptor.
All suspension bearings are nice and smooth, and the grease ports in the lower link are clean and function properly.
£775 collected from Newcastle upon Tyne, or £795 delivered in a proper frame box.
