Even though I still earn a relatively modest salary (compared with stoner etc), I'm so used to having f*** all that I feel like a popstar! In reality, I'm positively overjoyed not to be living hand to mouth as I did for so long.

OP - a 10-20mm Sigma isn't a want, it's a necessity. A tripod is an absolut basic - like breathing. Go spend some cash.
Personally, I'd quite like a shiny new car to make my clients think I'm a success (I am, but I like my old, rusty Focus estate - it'll swallow bikes and it's already so manky I really don't care if they're covered in dog poo).
No interest at all in watches or yachts.
A volcano lair, with submarine pens, missile launchers, some decent singletrackoff the top and a Stannah Stairlift to get there (with a bike rack.) Think Dr No and you're about there.
Failing that I quite fancy an Anthem 29er but Mrs Hillsplease assures me I haven't earned it. Which is probably fair.
