I did a loop from Hawkeshead via Tarn Howes, Coniston, Torver, Dunnerdale Fells, Seathwaite, Walna Skar, Coniston and then back to Hawkeshead
it was a great day out riding

So what did I do wrong with the image link?

It’s not particularly technical but is foot out flat out fun, with dust billowing behind you.

That bridleway three gates in from the car park is techy fun to finish off in Coniston.

The Coniston loop with Walna Scar definitely ranks high on the smiles per miles scale.

    Coppermines trumps it by miles.

Yep, and also add in the descent into seathwaite from Stephensons ground on the way out, a peach, or it was last time I rode it.

Rode it on Friday. My brand new EXO minnion lasted to just past the first gate before blowing its bollocks off.

    Parkhead road is ace.

Yeah I’ve heard it’s pretty tasty.

I’m guessing it’s the bit that zig zags down from the Old Man. So from Walna car park you ride across then climb up and blast back down?

Can’t wait to go back, it’s so much fun round there.
