Today’s job is putting some wallpaper up. I’ve just realised the paper we’ve chosen is 690mm wide but my standard pasting table is only 560mm wide. Should I crack on just moving the paper on the table or do it on the dining room table?
Sorry if that’s a daft question but it’s expensive paper and I don’t have any excess so do t want to make a daft mistake

I would just move the paper over n the table but if you want to do it all in one go buy some plywood to extend the width of the table.

You can’t beat doing it on the dining room table. 😉
Seriously though, you don’t want to mess around pasting it on a narrow paste table. You want to be doing it as quickly as possible. Have you no lining paper you can cover and tape to the table? Although it’s better to wipe the bare table each time or it can end up all over the face of the paper
I bet it comes with it’s own paste doesn’t it? It’ll be very thick so you’ll be better pasting with a short haired roller. Don’t miss bits on the edges especially.
    Good luck.
