Need an excuse to get out of bed?

How about a nice XC ride in the Mendip/Cheddar area tomorrow morning? I was thinking 9:45am at Lillypool Cafe (BS25 1RQ). Witches Wood, Yoghurt, OAP, Kings Wood, Heart Bypass and down to Bishop Compton, cheeky back, Slot Cars then Winscombe Drove back to the cafe (sadly shut down).

Anyone interested?

I’d love to, but I’ve given the boss a commitment to a bike free day, on the basis that I was out till 12 today anyway.

Best I can hope for tomorrow is a quick blast in Weston woods when the kids are in bed. 🙁

Glutton for punishment, I took my new road-bike out for a quick spin this afternoon. Riding uphill into that wind was not a great idea. Still, there were interesting May-day celebrations in town to look at.

Bit out of practice actually, found it was a bad idea on the road bike I’ve mainly been riding this year (toe overlap).
