VW Transporter Child seat compatibility

Just acquired a 1999 T4 Transporter. Is it ok to put a child seat (2 year old kid) in the passenger seat? No airbag to worry about and seat belts are normal, but wanna be sure.

yes, but it depends on their weight what sort of seat they need.
