    Golf due a service.
Not overly bothered about VW dealer servicing TBH.
One Derby dealership I would be loathe to use again, and one in Nuneaton have been a mare for a work colleague. Yonks ago when I had an older Polo I used to use the Lion Garage (Loughborough & Leicester) – they used to offer more and not take the piss….anyone you can recommend? Cheers

C+R Enterprises are an independent specialist in Nottingham – I’ve been very happy with their work on my Octavia over the last three years.

When I lived in the area I used jervis in Cotgrave. Good lads always did a decent job at good price, comply with warranty requirements if needed too I think

Think there is a place that specialises in VAG group cars off Frank Whittle way / Stores Road in Derby
No experiences of it but has been there years

Wrong side of Birmingham however if you happen to end up in the West Midlands Black Country Porsche do all VAG servicing at very reasonable rates.

If you’ll travel a bit midland vw in Cannock. I’m going on Friday, hour and half from me in Leicestershire but I’ll have a spin around Cannock chase while its in and I trust them more than anyone local.

    Cheers for the replies.

Didn’t get round to doing anything about it today but does anyone know if I HAVE to use VW if I’m on the VW extended warranty? It’s just passed it’s 3rd birthday so that’s kicked in. Can’t seem to find out categorically without calling them. Read some conflicting info – wondered if anyone has first hand experience.
Or Kia Ceed (7 year warranty) could be serviced at any VAT registered garage with ‘equal quality’ parts so you weren’t held to ransom by the manufacturer.
