What bike rack do you use? Was thinking of going roof mounted, is the Thule the best option? I don’t have a tow bar and want something that won’t damage the car (mk v). Many thanks

I used bars for my MkVs when I had them.

Thule Wingbars & x3 proride 591 carriers on my MkV.

Really wish I’d went down the detachable towbar route and kept the Pendle though.

I’ve got a mk5 R32 …. I got a saris bones 2 and it’s fine. I’m sticking a bit of inner tube Inbetween it and the boot lid to help not mark the paint and its fine. But I’ve only used it once. Quick and easy tho
