    Hi everyone!

Fingers crossed I’ll be getting delivery of my new MTB mid Jan, but I’m wondering whether it’s worth the hasstle of selling my old Stumpjumper and if I’d get anything for it?

Not got Picture yet but the spec is:

    Specialized Stumpjumper MMC 96 Frame
    Rigid forks
    8spd Thumbshifters
    Dia Comp Levers
    XT V Brakes
    Mavic Crosslands Wheels
Then just ok groupset and finishing kit

Or would I be better to split it and just sell the good stuff?

    Cheers!

Retrobike has a whats it worth thread.
Most of the retro worls is in to niche brands so the market for stumpies isn’t huge.
I’d keep it and ride it every now and again especially if i’d had it from new.

+1, especially if it was my first ‘proper’ MTB.

I still have my venerable 1995 Marin, and a few bikes have come and gone since then

    Cheers!

I might give it to the Father in Law perhaps then to try and get some brownie points. I can use it again if I ever need it as well.

Not my first bike, I bought this of a friend after my first MTB a Kona Kilauea was stolen!
