    looks like it, yeah.

    If i remember correctly, the main problem with the creates was the fact that they weren't built properly -saving money on labour- RATHER than the cheap parts which were fitted themselves.

    If you know what you're doing with bikes they're still a bargain. take it to bits and put it together again properly before use with a different BB and possibly headset.

    Yeah only 26 inch wheels. I like the 700c wheels for a road bike.

    those SS subways come with 700c wheels…. and 622-28 tyres

    I think I need some! I just assumed it was 26 inch wheels.
    Still its nearly 100 more expensive. I'm thinking of going for the viking…

    viking looks ok and as you say is £100 cheaper, though the subway does have some 'branded' components and i bet it is lighter – if that counts for owt! 😉

    oh yes, the other thing, despite how few components attached, the creates are HEAVY AS SIN.

    That carrera is a quality bike.
