    Hi,

Trying to set my phone up on front of my bike with View Ranger running but it keeps flipping to landscape view rather than portrait. It is running on a Samsung Galaxy . I have tried switching the it off on the settings but it does not seem to work.

    Thanks,

    Richard

I don’t know the answer, but Viewranger support by email are good – they’ve always solved any issues I’ve had really quickly.

I assume your post is referring to settings in Viewranger. If so you could try doing it as a global setting on the phone. Go settings> display> when device is rotated and select “stay in portrait view”

Works for me on a Nexus 5 using Android 5.1.

As Bullroar wrote go into the phone display settings and uncheck auto rotate screen.

I have unchecked the auto rotate on phone but still no joy
