So, thinking about it, I probably should have put some mounts on the frame I made to fit some brakes..
I’ve now got a set of Deore LX and am going to make some adaptors to fit over the swingarm to mount them on.
I remember from having V’s that the mounting has 3 positions to locate the tensioner pin but was wondering if I would really need 3 as I can’t check the angles.
Also, can I fit shorter length pads as the standard ones are too long and will foul on the tyre due to the small wheel size?
    Cheers

I’ve never mounted v brakes other than in the middle hole. I think the other holes were more useful for cantis

    Shorter pads will be fine

You might want to read up on some of the canti brake stuff on sheldonbrown.com

This and other stuff as well.
