How much noise and vibration do these things actually produce?
Does anybody use one in a flat? Or am I asking for trouble with the neighbour?

Three floored terrace house here, four including the cellar. Old neighbours had one on top floor. We knew when neighbours were using it, but not massively noisy, more of a thud/hum. Old houses though, thick walls and floors.

Someone will throw you and the machine off the 3rd floor.

Is there a time of day when you are in and your downstairs neighbours are regularly out?

I’d take up on of the cheap gyms and use theirs TBH..
    Or run around the block.

I’ve got a cross trainer and surprisingly once the novelty wears off its more of a pain storing the thing…and tbh its like being house bound.

Gyms got a lot more variety as well as you can use the running machine/cross trainer or rowing machine – might even have a watt bike if riding nowheres yer thing.

You can also perv/people watch in the gym 😛

I wouldn’t, we had a neighbour in our old flats with a rowing machine and he was told to stop using it when we were home. I suspect a treadmill would have seen him and his treadmill leaving through a window.
