Hadn’t used this bike for a few weeks. Took wheels off and then probably pulled the brakes in the process of hanging the bike up. So now when I went to put the wheels back on the brakes wouldn’t release properly – very sluggish. So heated up reservoir’s and pipes slightly and all fine now.

    Is this OK to do?

    Cheers

well done for having a hair drier, most male MTBers seem to be baldicoots :o)

(possibly with a beard fetish to make up for it)

its easier to just push the pistons back in with something plasticy, then centre them on the disc when you put the wheel back in surely?

Speak for yourself; fine head of (bastard wild uncontrollable) hair here…

I reckon some STWers have hairy palms…

seems rather strange…I would have thought heating the brake fluid would have caused them to tighten more rather than loosen.
