i've been getting quite good at nose wheelies over the past weeks. on thier own they aren't much use for riding, but i like doing them….

i suppose the wheelie is also fairly non-essential.

    anything else?

nose wheelies (as opposed to stoppies) on a mountainbike is pretty impressive.

disagree that wheelies are useless for riding tho (or stoppies for that matter).

Wheelies are useful for getting your front wheel onto things.

I thought this would be to do with being able to fit a whole banana in your mouth, sideways.

I was sitting at a coffee shop on Buchanan St in Glasgow on Saturday morning and a young guy went flying down the street pulling the best most stable manual I have ever seen. I so want to learn that!

Riding no-handed. It can be useful for a quick rest or to adjust your clothes etc, but I do it becasue I CAN, and it's fun. I can even steer round corners.

Track stands are not useless for the trail. I use them all the time.

I knew a girl who was mighty impressed that her dad could bunny hop over a bucket… I have yet to encounter a bucket in the middle of any trail i have ever rode. So i guess it fits the question.

Mine is standing up no handed whilst peddling. Pretty pointless and very childish..but very awkward.

Quite good at endos but they aren't very handy.

Otherwise, juggling, various gymnastic handstand "stunts" and a rather stupidly mobile face – keeps kid entertained for hours.

I feel really low now. The only skill I have is being able to grow chillis really well.

Rubbish at juggling and quite bad at all bike tricks too.

I can spend too much money on bike parts even when my extension roof is clearly leaking and goes unfixed because I am swapping stems, growing wheels, going 3×9, going 1×9,buying guides, buying tensioners, buying frames, going singlespeed, buying , more stems, BIG WHEELS, forks, (now I want suspension forks, tubeless stuff, tyres, more tyres, saddles, brake pads, spokes, hubs, chains…

and countless other stuff which results in me still riding once a week and still being s**t.

sorry got carried away there. I like to belch the word "belch" at the dinner table. My wife loves it

    rockwalls are awesome… thanks xiphon.

i can complete front pivot 180 and about 90 on the back wheel…. best get practicing!

did see a vid where some german guy was get around very tight hairpins using a similar method to the rockwall…

i thought of another. no-handed wheelies. not much use on the trail

I'm getting better at doing big manuals – not like the short, useful-on-the-trail kind but the massive, leaning-off-the-back-for-ages kind. Inherently useless but awesome.
