May I start with Cemetery Junction in Reading, so good it was the title of a film. Not a very good film though.

Granted it’s not particularly urban, but it is next to Sustrans route 4.

It’s a slow day for me here too… but I’m managing to resist starting a thread on ‘your favourite stretch of suburban pavement’.

The magic roundabout in Swindon – I don’t believe any other junction can possibly be as awesome.

They’ve just reworked a junction near home, at a busy lights-controlled crossroads. Previously it was your typical “left lane for left / straight on, right lane to turn left.” This is still the case but they’ve added a new “straight on only” middle lane.

It’s ace because no-one uses it. The left-hand lane is full of queuing cars most of whom are going straight on, and the middle lane will have like two cars in it. It’s taken almost minutes off my commute!
