I am there on Friday, visiting some relatives over the weekend. I assume my only options for a mid-week uplift are either the Forest of Dean or CwmCarn?

I like Triscombe, but the push up is a bit of a pain and they only offer uplifts during the week if you can guarantee a group of 8-10.

Any other options I may have missed?

I think that’s about it. There’s a couple of pump tracks or bring a bike you can pedal snd play in Ashton Court, etc.

I thought so. I may give Cwmcarn a go as I haven’t been there for a few years.

You’ll want some grippy tyres there atm

My Spesh Clutch SX seem to grip on most things. I may take some old Super Tacky Minions, just in case.

…2 options isnt that bad, this is the West Country, not the Alps!

The DH track at Cwmcarn is grippy enough in the wet, man made and never that steep (for a DH trail). FoD will be more slippery, as it’s natural and more rooty. Ditto Triscombe.

I’ve been to Cwmcarn and Triscombe before. Triscombe is more my type of riding (it was pouring down when I went before), but the lack of an uplift means I won’t get as many runs in as I’d like.

It was a statement, not a criticism.
