  • Up to 2.1''tubeless rear tyre – Suggestions?

I very much love my Fortitude.

The rear tyre clearance, allowing for mud, is fairly tight.

Since I built the bike up years ago I’ve been running a 2.1” WTB Prowler SL tyre thats sadly starting to wear out 🙁

I’ve got a DS 25 rim that seems to make the most of, what is these days, a narrow tyre.

    A 2.25” Ardent is a touch big – which is a shame.

I like the side knob (snigger) pattern of the Prowler and the minimalish centre line tread which helps when its muddy around here (its claggy soil/clay) and rolls well when its dry.

    So suggestions.

Ground Control 2.1 with a control casing or grid if you need extra grrr in the sidewall.

Spesh Ground Control, saying that I ran a mud X in mine all year round.

That was the one thing that let the fortitude down; the silly tight rear end. Fabulous bike other than that
