I am running a Campag compact chainset on my MTB as 1×9 i have seen a few threads recently saying an unrapmed front ring is better, my searches have been fruitless to find a 34t unramped for my chainset, if you can point me in the right direction for one I would appreciate it.

you need a 110mm BCD chainring – I would imagine that Middleburn probably do what you’re after or possibly a DH brand since quite a few DHers use 110mm chainsets.
