  • Unfashionable retro build XC titanium frame – sell "as is" or break?

The decision is made and the poor neglected old Global Th1.5 ti bike is going, to contribute to the cost of a Bianchi Specialissima.

It’s built up in an unfashionable XC style with a triple, original Hope Minis, still working well, even the rotors are the old screw-on collar type. Rigid carbon fork, flat bars, 26″ wheels etc etc.

Do I sell “as is” on Ebay or break and sell in bits? Ti frames are going for good money.

Splitting it will get you some money quickens but you will end up with some bits left over that you can’t get anything for.
Does it really need to be sold

The frame will have more interest and is the only bit most people would want and having to buy a complete bike just for the frame would put many people off (as the parts are old and not worth selling)

Just sell the frame and clear out the parts at giveaway price with local pickup only to make it easy for you.

Full bike on ebay with reserve. If that fails then split and advertise on here/retrobike/ebay

Postage for a full bike is £40-£50 with parcelforce
