In just 2 weeks time the UK Bike Polo Championships are coming to Edinburgh. Who fancies going to watch?

Huge Spectator gallery overlooking the two courts and only £2 suggested donation to get in. Something a little bit different to do on the weekend.

The ice has melted and tyres are warming up for the best bike polo competition of 2011, it’s all kicking off in Murrayfield Curling rink on the 16th-17th of July.

This is the first event of it’s type in Scotland. If you’ve not heard of Bike-polo before then check out the video at the bottom of the page. This the full-contact and recently popularised hardcourt version of the game. The best teams from all around the UK are assembling to battle for the ability to call themselves the UK Champions.

Spectators are encouraged as the weekend unfolds and the rounds intensify. Thrills and spills guaranteed. We have a raised viewing gallery to watch as mallets and bikes clash, deciding who will win the coveted title of UK champion.

Spectator entry is a £2 donation. 12-5pm. Murrayfield curling rink.
