    My cross currently runs on 32 continental twister tyres but after experiencing snake bites and bone shaking run out yesterday I wanted bigger volume tyres.
    Saw some I like listed as either 1.35 or 1.2″. Is this bigger than 23c? Totally confused.

    Approx. 34.29mm and 30.49mm. These numbers are bigger than 23mm, which is the width of your current 23c tyre.

    Is it a straight conversion? The ‘ c’ refers to the same dimension as it would in inches Yes?

    C = mm

    So a 32c tyre = 32mm width approx

    50c = 50mm or 1.95″ approx
    52c = 52mm or 2.1” approx

    As per Jamie’s post you would want a wider than 1.35” tyre.
