Has your new Chameleon turned up then?

I use a Halfords digital one that has both presta and schraeder. £8 ish and is pretty accurate.

Use a SKS Airchecker on ours. Not had any problems with sealant.

Sealant is no problem if you have the valve at the bottom of the wheel for a few minutes and then give a quick pump to blow sealant out of the valve and then check the pressure. Sounds complicated. Isn’t.

Topeak digital too. I have an accugage, don’t really like it much, mostly just because the fine tuning valve is so slow.

No slower popping the gauge off, jag air out, gauge back on. My topeak and schwalbe ones had to be reset, which took just as long.

And there’s something more reassuring in a gauge.

Which takes away the precision, you just have to guess how much air you’re removing. The topeak doesn’t need reset, it has a tuning mode for this.

thanks for the topeak suggestion. it’s proving useful. wish it was a bit smaller, and also think the ‘on’ feature should take a few seconds button press, but apart from that it’s all good. 😉
