currently using the bike for road commuting…..therefore i stuck a pair of Panaracer Mach SS semi slicks on 4 months ago…
i’ve noticed the difference they’ve made to the bike as it handles. well for a semi slick….
but the puncture protection is next to useless. panaracer say they have protected sidewalls but the rest of the tread is not very puncture proof.
i’m now looking for a new set of tyres (26×1.95 inch or there abouts) with puncture protection….any suggestions would be appreciated…

I used to use Spesh Nimbus which were great but only 1.5 inch IIRC.

Another Marathon Plus here, very nearly punctureproof and they last well too. Little bit dead-feeling and not that fast mind, but not terribly so and not enough to put me off at all.
