Hey gang – I’ve got a new Salsa El Mar hardtail with 100mm of front suspension. I’ve got Maxxis Icon 2.2s Exceptions running tubeless on Stans Arch rims. I was wondering what tyre pressures you experienced 29er guys are using? I forgot to pump my tyres up on Saturday and I had a gorgeous 25 miles around my local forest. On Sunday morning I checked my pressures before going out and discovered they were well under 30psi. I normally ride with about 35psi on my 26” full-suss, so I pumped the Icons to about 35 but I found them too firm. What are your recommendations?
