Just fitted a Floater on the front the wrong way round.

I can live with the shame and ridicule, but will I notice any difference?

    In a word….

    Absolutely not.

Your shame is a secret that’s safe with us…

It’s ok if you “switzerland squeak” your way around the trails. You will get negative mileage on strava as it’ll think you went backwards the whole segment

for that one probably not. For others with ramped knobs you will notice a big drop in performance either rolling badly or braking being sketchy.

Thanks, just the shame to contend with then!

Under braking, on the front, can make quite a big difference.
    Rear less so.

I read that as “make it worse if you have it on the wrong way” :). I can live with the shame but I like the ability to stop….

I swopped mine round once to see what affect it had (High Rollers) – it had a very noticeable affect, especially braking.

You cant beat a bit of self experimentation.

Even the right way, High Rollers are quite unstable under poor front braking technique. I learnt fast 🙂

That they were sketchy or how to brake properly?

Depends on the tyre but it certainly make a big difference.
