After moving Mrs G’s bedroom around she has asked for the tv to be mounted on the wall again. When i last mounted it, i had to space out the bracket by 10-12mm so the bracket would clear the lower part of the tv.

I used some headset spacers to do this last time, but can’t find them anywhere. Short of ordering something, has anyone got any ideas of something i could use? If it makes any difference the bolts are M6.

    Thanks.

Slide a larger nut down the bolt.

An m8 nut or a stack of m6 washers.

Every TV mount I’ve ever done comes with a bunch of plastic spacers in teh hardware kit for exactly the problem you are trying to solve.
I have dozens kicking around from 3 TV’s this week but that doesn’t help you as it’ll be into the new year before North american post gets to you 😉
Hack idea for something you have in the drawer, kid safe medicine bottle top with a hole drilled.
