looking at the specs on the turner site I'm tright on the cusp of small and medium @ 5'7" (on a good day!). The small has a slightly shorter TT and the medium a slightly longer TT than my current Kona Kula (17" - I think) hard tail. Although we are only talking 1/2" either way.
Anyone else been in between sizes and what did you go for?
If I was you, I'd probably go Medium and put on a short stem if you are used to a 17" Kula. But then, I wouldn't get something that expensive without a test ride.
I'm on the cusp of a medium/large. I have a lot of seatpost showing on mine and it does feel a bit small at times - certainly compared to my race hardtail. I'd also be inclined to go for the larger size and run a shorter stem.
Medium I would of thought.
Best to check in person though to confirm before spending out that kind of money imo.
damn right I'll want to try one first! I'm guessing it is going to be a lot easier to find a medium to test than a small. I'll certainly be able to know if it feels too big and a stem is obviously a quick, easy item to change on a test ride.
I am 5ft 10 and ride a medium with a 110mm stem and riser and straight seatpost. Had an 18inch Kona before.
If you are around the Surrey Hills or Swinley you could try mine - finding a demo might not be so easy, most demos are 5-spots it seems.

remember reading to go for a bigger size as it will have a longer wheelbase and thus be more stable.
You'd definitely be fine on a medium. I'm more "small" than "medium" on most bikes but the Turner and Intense are fine as a medium.
