I’m not able to get out on the bike for a few weeks while Mrs BGD is away following the death of her dad and I’m at home with our son. I had been thinking about getting a turbo trainer anyway and was thinking now might be a good time.
I don’t know much about them apart from people seem to either love our hate them, so looking for advice and recommendations for something not too expensive but needs to be fairly quiet as I’ll have to use it in the house while Jr is asleep. Quite like the idea of Zwift to make things a bit more interesting.
The Tacx Vortex seems to get good reviews and is on offer at the moment of anyone has any thoughts on the particular model?

    Cheers

cheapest way to do zwift is a tacx flow smart from halfords (£170ish depending on offers/discounts). vortex is betterer if you’ve got some money to spend.

I’ve got mine setup permanently in the shed, if I had to mess around setting it up then I’d probably use it a lot less.
