  • Tubeless valves leaking…anyone else?

I’ve been using a pretty standard tubeless valve system with gorilla tape holding the seal well internally but the valves are leaking! Anyone else had issues with leaky tubeless valves or got any recommendations from what they use?

    Cheers!

Only when the tape has failed and the leak looks like the valve, but it’s just the sealant moving around under the tape to the biggest hole.

    Never had a valve leak.

Is it the valve or is it from the valve hole? I’ve seen the latter often enough & it’s usually a symptom of the tape leaking somewhere.

    What they ^^^ said.
I’ve seen fluid leak around the valve but it’s been from a failure in the tape somewhere else on the circumference, not the valve.

    Cheers Yak and Nobby,

Seems to be right on the valve, under the locking ring. Not had the tyre off yet so could be a tape leak somewhere inside but I’ve not had the gorilla tape leak before
