Sorry if this has been asked before but there used to be a lot of talk about how to get tubeless tyres to seat. Has anyone tried the old redneck trick with ether or easy start?

I nearly got to where I was gonna have to try this recently but just got a HD & NN to seat with tubes first (other posts). I was a little nervous as I once lost my eye lashes and brows when the lighter I was refilling sparked up…

I’ve seen (on TV) off-road snow truckers in Iceland do this too, well cool, brill & ace.

I have a boat trailer with tubless on and tried that one side worked OK the other set the tyre on fire 😳
