Had to use an anchovy (genuine innovations) on a rear puncture that wouldn’t seal on a ride tonight . Worked fine and is holding after another hour of riding. On inspection once home the thread seems flush with tyre and nice and dry.

So, being a newbie to this, how long does this fix usually last ? Fit and forget, or weak point ?

    Thanks

Unless your unlucky, that will last the life of the tyre. Well at least mine did.

Two week old tyre got a split on the shoulder whilst in Basque, fitted the anchovies and saw the rest of the trip and the life of the tyre out without issue
